As part of the full renovation of a Victorian terraced home in South East London, this kitchen was designed to maximise light and create a serene, functional environment for everyday living.
The scheme pairs Formica® Laminate F5344 Seed with FENIX® Bianco Malé, balancing warmth, texture and subtle contrast.
Formica laminate in the soft, muted green tone of Seed was pressed onto birch plywood for the doors, drawer fronts and end panels. The finish complements quarter-sawn oak veneer on open shelving and side details, while the Matte 58 texture adds a tactile depth that reinforces the calm, natural atmosphere.
To complete the composition, FENIX Bianco Malé provides a smooth, off-white surface that enhances brightness and ties together the organic palette.
“When recommending materials, Formica Laminate is my go-to reference for quality and reliability,” says designer Paul Miller. “Clients recognise the name and trust its durability, making it a dependable choice for modern kitchen design.”
Together, the combination of Formica Laminate and FENIX achieves a harmonious balance of timeless design, practicality and refined simplicity.
