At the 11th edition of the Starlite Music Festival in Marbella, Spain, Formica® Laminate and Homapal® took centre stage in a striking installation designed by architect Héctor Ruiz Velázquez.
The bold F1238 Carnaval was paired with three shimmering Homapal metal finishes, together shaping an immersive design experience across key festival areas.
The restaurant, bars and washrooms were reimagined using the vivid red laminate, polished metals and dynamic lighting to express both energy and sophistication. The combination produced interiors that reflected the festival’s creative spirit — vibrant, theatrical and full of movement.
“The power of red captures our attention and strongly stimulates the senses,” explained Velázquez. “We used it as a symbol of strength and nobility, yet also to evoke love and happiness. The high-performance red laminate panels from Formica allowed us to enhance the retro-futuristic aesthetic, complemented by neon light frames that highlight the architectural form.”
This collaboration demonstrates how Formica laminate and Homapal metals can merge performance and artistry to create environments that captivate and inspire.
