Plykea’s Modern Kitchen Upgrade

The design pairs ash-veneered birch plywood fronts with Formica^® Laminate in F8241 Earthenware, adding a rich, earthy tone that complements the home’s period features. 

To complete the look, brass edge pulls and a FENIX^® Bianco Malé worktop bring warmth and refinement, resulting in a space that feels both timeless and contemporary. Formica laminate is used throughout (even inside drawers) ensuring a seamless, durable and easy-to-maintain finish ideal for family life. 

The project, designed by Kat Collins, has been shortlisted for the Homebuilding & Renovation Awards 2024 in partnership with The Times and The Sunday Times, recognising its thoughtful design and material innovation.
